Waldy Challenge 2025 - March - Consistency

Writer's picture: Luke PhillipsLuke Phillips

Whilst February was about big standalone rides like HOTA and Long WW Sundays, March starts the build up to Tour and multi-day challenges of the Summer.

The aim is to ride as many kms in 7 consecutive days as possible. You can count any outdoor km's rode in any 7 days days during March riding solo or in a group. It's fine to not ride every day but you can only count the distance over consecutive days regardless of if you rode or not.

Here are the available points

100kms in 7 consecutive days in March = 1pt

200kms in 7 consecutive days in March = 2pts

300kms in 7 consecutive days in March = 3pts

400kms in 7 consecutive days in March = 4pts

The man and woman with the most kms in 7 consecutive days will earn a bonus point.

A maximum of 5 points can be obtained.

The above is for UK rides, if you’re fortunate enough to be able to do overseas miles points can still be claimed but with a 50% increase in distance needed.

Remember we’re also running an indoor challenge during January, February and March. So for the final month if you don’t want to claim points for outdoor riding you can claim them for time spent riding indoors as below:

10 hours of riding 1pt

16 hours of riding 2pts

24 hours of riding 3pts

30 hours of riding 4pts

There are no monthly bonus points for indoor riding and points can only be claimed if not claiming outdoor points.

Please remember points must be claimed by notifying the Challenge Master via WhatsApp by midnight on the 1st of April.

Don't forget to claim any bonus points and input into the google spreadsheet via the website. Navigate to the Waldy Challenge page and in the middle right of the page, press add bonuses; you will then be taken to the google sheet.  Points are self claimed on an honesty basis.
